What would it look like if I came back to consistent blogging on my own site?

As I watched my coffee drip through the other morning I pondered that question. As I re-shaped the homepage of our website, including a brief bio from both us, keeping things minimal, I pondered that question again.

I’ve been blogging since 2004 in some form or another. I’ve not been writing here on for almost a year. Medium has been an interesting experiment and I’ll continue to use it especially when writing for Are Collective. It was also a great tool for the Northern Ireland Aeropress Championship blogging this year.

But, while the coffee dripped through and our website changed slightly I realised that I’ve had time to slow the pace of life and think…

And that’s been good!

In October 2015 I left retail after twenty years – I wrote about my last hurrah here. Middletown Coffee Co opened in Ballymena and has immediately provided an amazing community hub. The team we do most of our work with kind of needed a name so we called that Are Collective. We were involved in a team that rebuilt our church website. Cherry became a teacher/lecturer and climbed Ben Nevis for this amazing cause.

And lot’s more happened that has given me time to assess what I am good at and what works…

But, don’t call it a comeback. Not yet!
