Making a difference is hard. Making a difference will get you attacked by that rabid online fan base that loves it when your blood is in the water.

But in the end, it’s not about us. It’s about Jesus. And I’d rather make a difference for Jesus than make a point about him. How about you?”

#hkbibletweet is a way to be accountable and to ask questions about our Bible reading…..

#hkbibletweet isn’t a stunt or an attempt to get ‘our hashtag’ trending on twitter…..

#hkbibletweet is not a means to preach or peddle an agenda to others…..

#hkbibletweet does not belong to me or you – so far we have almost 50 users from our Church on twitter and I have no doubt that number will rise – this could be a wonderful way for all of us to engage with God’s word and with each other online…….

and, finally, #hkbibletweet is not an effort to make you boring! It’s not an online Bible study, we are not keeping a score! Its not a competition!

Twitter can be great fun……….I enjoy the banter as much as the next person and, I often tweet seemingly pointless information and silly quotes………….people who say ‘that’s not what twitter is for‘ are whiny internet snobs who should stop being babies………….you can still have a laugh!
