“As the deer pants for flowing streams…….” Psalm 42
A really well known Psalm made more well known by a really well known hymn………sort of……….
Yesterday morning I was getting some dishes washed up and preparing part of sunday dinner before we left for Church……I had put my headphones in and was listening to the song in the video below by The Sing Team….[you can listen to/download the songs at this link as well as pick up chord sheets for guitar]
A new interpretation of Psalm 42………which I had forgotten, was going to be one of the chapters we would read as part of our reading plan that day………
“Like a bed of rest for my fainting flesh,
I am satisfied in you.”
