This time last week I was basking in glory, having climbed Slieve Binnian the day before but was also lamenting the death of my laptop………..it just died……….
The board is terminally ill and the hard drive might be ok………if it isn’t…….well, I’ve lost some stuff!
Anyway, on thursday we made arrangements for a new computer and so this week begins more pleasantly…….more on that another time perhaps!
On friday we went on a short weekend holiday…….to Portrush……..
And here’s the thing………when the sun comes out, Portrush is the finest place you could wish to be……..
We had an incredibly blessed weekend………peace and quiet…..sunshine…….books………walking…….coffee………the ocean………we do not need to be entertained too much……..contentedness is something we are blessed with…….and, so everything about our weekend was just right!

So glad you had a good time. We have that experience every time. And see when the surf’s up… it doesn’t get any better. One night I came in from an early spring surf in East strand to a warm turf fire and cup of hot chocolate. So blessed as you say.
