What a struggle this is for the Christian……..for me, for you……
Looking beyond what we see in peoples actions and words…..to see what God sees…….
“But the LORD said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the LORD sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the LORD looks on the heart.” 1 Samuel 16v17
It is so hard, I struggle with it everyday. I’m reminded of Joseph when he said to his brothers “As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.” Genesis 50:20. Amazing!
